Printing & assembly manual — Rev 0.3
The first edition uses original Ronin CAD illustrations, lavender and sakura colors, and a little workshop humor. It is a revision to build on, not a final assembly order or a current, complete purchase BOM.
Some interfaces remain unresolved, and the illustrated CAD snapshot differs from later working assemblies. Final exploded views, fastener quantities, wiring and fit instructions must follow the completed, checked assembly.
What the next manual revision needs
- Mechanical fit: current assembly-derived quantities, magnets, insert specifications, countersunk fasteners, cover removal and final print/split decisions.
- Storage and lighting: NVMe extension mounts and cable bends, Matchstick mounts, two independent LED leads, mating-cavity verification and serviceable harness routing.
- Display setup: reviewed host-local targets, automatic connection behavior and separate Windows/Linux verification, including the remaining Bazzite and Gaming Mode checks.
- Cooling: current geometry, package contact paths, assumptions and unresolved mesh/physical qualification. Provisional diagnostics must stay labeled.
- Figure provenance: the assembly revision and source for each original diagram, so an updated model can produce an updated illustration.
Unconfirmed supplier part numbers, fastener counts, connector maps and dimensions remain open items. The frozen PDF does not become current merely because a later feature is described on this website.
Dated project write-ups

Ronin has a project notebook. The engineering stays honest.
The new project sections, current verification limits and a clear provisional status for CFD.

It is officially Ronin. The first PCB is ordered.
The project name, ordered Rev A adapter and NVMe route. Ordered and modeled hardware remains separate from physical verification.

Ronin's display gets a menu and saved action pages
Native display navigation, reviewed Windows actions and the platform limits of those tests.

Early airflow, working display controls, and a harness to check
A dated development update. Its preliminary cooling and harness descriptions are not a current acceptance record.

Preliminary airflow study — Revision C
Historical report, animation and diagnostic limits. No accepted cooling-performance or temperature result.

Twenty LEDs. An unreasonable amount of ceremony.
The move to two Matchstick boards and the render direction. Later V1.0 adapter notes supersede the older daisy-chain plan.

The BC250 deserves a second life
The original reuse story and the starting point for Ronin's case and display.
These posts preserve the status at publication. Use the section pages for the current distinctions between working features, prototypes and plans.
Credit the people behind the parts
- Blamm: Rainbow on a Matchstick lighting boards.
- Mosfet.Party: the EPS Power Adapter and PS_ON adapter.
- MandicReally: the single remixed 92 mm fan shroud; the credit applies to that part.
- Voron: an organizational reference for clear documentation. The manual uses no copied Voron artwork or prose, and Ronin has no official Voron affiliation.
