Ronin has a project notebook. The engineering stays honest.

Ronin has grown beyond a single case-study page. The project notebook now separates the media archive, CAD and cooling study, electrical work, software and documentation.

The V6d studio render is a design snapshot, not a photograph of a finished machine. The assembly has continued to change. The relocated NVMe arrangement, adapter mounting, cable bends and several printed interfaces still need physical checks.

What the front panel has demonstrated

The ESP32-P4 front panel has Windows test-host evidence: live USB telemetry, physical navigation, reviewed application actions and automatic telemetry return after reconnecting to the paired laptop socket. Reconnection leaves application actions unarmed. Focus and launch claims apply to the targets actually tested.

Linux, initially Bazzite, remains the primary product direction. Passing Linux pure-code and loopback checks does not establish physical USB, desktop focus or Gaming Mode acceptance.

Cooling remains an engineering task

The saved CFD material supports inspection of geometry and solver diagnostics. It does not provide accepted cooling temperatures or a validated performance scenario. Mesh geometry findings and physical heat balance remain unresolved. Temperature and flow presentation stay disabled in the diagnostic viewer.

The primary study assumes dual P9 fans and one layer of 200-mesh cloth, with two- and three-layer comparisons retained. Heat loads, filter behavior and heatsink material carry explicit assumptions. Package temperature is not a junction-temperature prediction.

The next physical checks

The Rev A LED adapter remains ordered and unqualified in the documented status. Its two independent ten-pixel Matchstick channels, separate USB display power and SATA LED supply are design intent until the harness and hardware are checked. Controller startup, suspend wake, physical RGB output and AI/voice are not completed functions.

The Rev0.3 manual is a dated draft. Mounting, fastener, harness and fit decisions belong in its next revision rather than being guessed into a shopping list.

Build it, remix it, and make it your own. Keep component credits and upstream licenses, check revision notes, and reach out with questions.
